I am an Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department of the University of Pisa. I am a member of the Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining Laboratory (KDDLab), a joint research group that connects the Computer Science Dept. of the University of Pisa, CNR-ISTI the Information Science and Technology Institute of the Italian National Research Council, and SNS, the Scuola Normale Superiore.

I received the Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from the University of Pisa in 2010 and the Master Degree in Computer Science from the University of Pisa in 2013.

In 2014, during my Ph.D., I have been a visiting researcher at the People in Motion Lab for a collaboration with the Prof. M. Wachowicz, at the Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering Department, University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, Canada.

My current research focuses on the study of dynamics on complex networks, such as diffusion of phenomena, and innovation. I received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Pisa with a thesis on the study of spreading phenomena over complex networks, in 2018.

Since 2013, I have been involved in different EU and Italian Funded research projects and has participated in some industrial collaborations.

Educational Background

I obtained a bachelor in Mathematics at the University of Pisa and I graduated cum laude in Computer Science at the University of Pisa. I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a thesis on the study of spreading phenomena over complex networks, in 2018
